MasterPlan assisted the Northern Territory Government in securing development approvals for the new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Gallery of Australia (ASTIAGA) in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). 


In collaboration with BVN Architecture and Susan Dugdale & Associates, MasterPlan partnered with a dedicated team working to bring to life a design that blends architectural and landscaping excellence with the cultural significance of the Gallery’s surroundings to the Arrernte people. 


Situated below the prominent Anzac Hill within Alice Springs and connected to Lhere Mparntwe (Todd River) – the gallery will be connected with and accessible from the CBD, and devoted to celebrating, displaying, and interpreting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art from across Australia.
