Coordinated planning for a hospitality-led development in the Barossa, supporting regional tourism, enhancing visitor experience and strengthening the economy.

MasterPlan was instrumental in supporting Barossa local Karl Roth to secure development approval for a large-scale luxury hotel resort on the site of the Barossa Pavilions in Lyndoch, South Australia.

Our involvement spanned from project inception and site due diligence through to obtaining consent and addressing conditions and reserved matters. This comprehensive process included three (3) variations to the proposal, which increased the total room count from 80 to 92, ultimately 124 rooms. On completion, the development will feature a hotel, restaurant, cocktail bar, function venue, gym, day spa, swimming pool, landscaped grounds, and other associated facilities.

MasterPlan led the planning consent process, collaborating closely with project managers RCP, architects Brown Falconer, and a dedicated consultant team.

The proposed development aims to deliver a bespoke tourism experience, addressing the growing demand for luxury accommodation in South Australia’s Barossa Valley region.
