MasterPlan assisted Parkstone Funds Management in securing development approvals for a 4,000m² warehouse, showroom, and office development to accommodate Packers, a South Australian family-owned built-in furniture manufacturing business established in 1967.
Packers aimed to consolidate its manufacturing, showroom, and office operations into a purpose-built facility at 30 Meyer Road, Lonsdale. The site, previously owned by the RSPCA, was used as part of the Lonsdale animal shelter for the temporary care of abandoned and mistreated horses and livestock.
The sloping terrain presented challenges related to stormwater management, earthworks, retaining walls, vegetation, and access. Collaborating closely with the project team, Sparc, Empirical Traffic Advisory, Tree Assessment Services, and TMK, MasterPlan was instrumental in addressing these constraints, delivering a practical and efficient development solution that met the needs of the end user.
