Description:

MasterPlan served as the planning consultant for the development of the Angle Vale (Riverbanks College) and Aldinga (Aldinga Payinthi College) State Super Schools project. This ambitious $240 million initiative simultaneously delivered two state-of-the-art birth-to-Year 12 schools, catering to the growing communities in Adelaide's northern and southern outer metropolitan areas.

The project is a cornerstone of South Australia's commitment to establishing best-practice school infrastructure, enhancing the State's reputation as a national leader in public education. The design vision for both schools emphasised fostering a strong sense of community through a village-like environment, with shared facilities designed to strengthen local connections.

MasterPlan worked closely with the Department for Education under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement. The project was delivered in collaboration with the TESA Consortium, comprising Sarah Constructions, Tetris Capital, DIF Capital Partners, and ISS Services Australia. MasterPlan navigated a complex Crown Development process, securing concurrent Development Approvals from the Minister for Planning for both schools simultaneously.

Despite the scale and complexity of the development, the project was delivered within a compressed timeframe to ensure the schools were operational for the start of the 2022 academic year. This outcome highlights MasterPlan's expertise in facilitating large-scale, time-sensitive projects with multiple stakeholders, contributing to the advancement of South Australia's education sector.
