MasterPlan led planning for Raintrees Shopping Centre’s Woolworths expansion, improving access, circulation and retail functionality for Cairns shoppers.

Raintrees Shopping Centre, a major district centre in Cairns, engaged MasterPlan to facilitate the relocation and expansion of the existing Woolworths tenancy to a larger format store with an upgraded loading dock.

The reconfiguration created opportunities for two new mini-major tenancies and included broader upgrades to centre access, internal circulation, and the introduction of a dedicated Woolworths Click and Collect facility.

Working closely with Progetto Design and PSA Consulting, MasterPlan led the planning process to support a coordinated redevelopment within an operational centre environment.

The outcome improves functionality, enhances customer access, and strengthens the retail offering for the Cairns community.
