MasterPlan successfully secured Planning Consent from the City of Adelaide Council Assessment Panel for the development of two three-storey dwellings on Wilson Street in Adelaide’s East End.
The development transforms an underutilised site with a carefully considered residential outcome that responds to the varied built form character of the surrounding area, which includes apartment developments of up to six storeys alongside established single and two-storey terrace dwellings.
The design has been carefully resolved to manage the relationship with neighbouring low-rise properties, with particular consideration given to building bulk, overlooking and overshadowing.
The resulting development will make a positive contribution to both the Wilson Street and Tomsey Court streetscapes through distinctive architectural elements, a refined material palette and substantial landscaping.
MasterPlan provided planning advice and managed the development assessment process through to Planning Consent.
