MasterPlan assisted Resthaven Incorporated and Brown Falconer in facilitating the planning approvals process for the Resthaven Marion redevelopment. 

Our role included providing strategic planning input throughout the design phase, coordinating technical inputs, and preparing a clear and concise development application for Council’s consideration and determination. 

The approved proposal involves a staged redevelopment of the site to deliver a fully integrated residential aged care facility. Key components include a new accommodation building, a community centre, and a retail arcade – all connected through a series of themed landscaped gardens featuring a walking trail, sensory garden, and central Town Square. 

The development delivers a class-leading aged care environment that balances high-quality residential amenity with services and spaces that invite connection with the broader community – setting a benchmark for integrated aged care design.
